Eden Court will be closed until Wednesday 4 August due to a high-proportion of our staff needing to self-isolate.

If you have tickets for one of the performances on 30th July to 3rd August our Ticket Sales team will be in touch within 5 days to arrange a refund.

Our priority at this time is the safety of our customers, staff and artists and we thank you in advance for your support.

Ben Sharrock’s critically adored Limbo is a wry, funny and poignant cross-cultural satire that subtly sews together the hardship and hope of the refugee experience. Set on a fictional remote Scottish island, it follows a group of new arrivals as they await the results of their asylum claims. Among them is Omar (Amir El-Masry), a young Syrian musician struggling with the guilt, regret and grief that comes with leaving his former life behind.

This deadpan comedy-drama from a bold new voice in British cinema shines a light on the hearts and lives of those at the centre of a crisis that is mostly only experienced through the headlines.

On Sat 31st July, the 7.30pm screening will be introduced by John Cairns of Highland Migrant Refugee Advocacy.
Limbo screenings will be preceded by a fantastic selection of short films from five contemporary refugee filmmakers that look to collective experiences of displacement: focusing on the stories of the sounds, languages, histories, and memories which shape our relationship to space and identity.
