Roo and Neil

For over a decade, Roo and Neil have combined their shared experience across classical and traditional Scottish music to create new original music for violin and accordion. Their compositions are inspired by landscape and people, and by how music can evoke a sense of place and community. Their music was selected as a winner of Fèis Rois’ In Tune with Nature competition and they were honoured to receive the Danny Kyle Award in 2021. Their debut album Homelands has met with great critical acclaim and the duo maintain a full concert schedule with engagements across the country.

FRAS have stormed their way through the west coast of Scotland and beyond with their iconic pipe heavy sound. A thundering four piece of box, flute, pipes and guitar, FRAS blend old melodies and original tunes to create a crashing wave of Highland music, tearing up dancefloors in their wake and leaving audiences captivated.
