Sgrìobh | Scrieve

Pippa Wallace - Pippa Wallace is a 17 year old Scottish folk singer hailing from Angus but currently living in the Scottish Highlands, specialising in Scots song. After spending several years living abroad homesickness led her to develop a deep love for Scots song, shaping her connection to Scotland's musical heritage. As she moves forward, her work remains rooted in the same feeling that first drew her to Scots song, a powerful sense of connection to home. Her music reflects this journey. With stripped back arrangements and focus on voice and storytelling, she attempts to capture the quiet intensity and emotional depth of the music she plays.

Cailean Jennett - A fluent Gaelic speaker who has grown up through Feisan and MOD competitions, Cailean has developed (or evolved) a distinctive singing and songwriting style in both Gaelic and English. With mentorship and tuition from the likes of Mary Anne Kennedy, Mischa MacPherson, Mary-Catherine MacLean and Sileas Sinclair – he has gone on to record and release three singles. Ten thousand plus streams later and after several radio plays – Cailean’s been pleased to see his songs appear on various lists of scottish/gaelic “bangers” alongside well-known names Mànran, Sian and Julie Fowlis. He’s also made a number of on-line and in-person appearances including opening for Kim Carnie as part of her 2025 Tour, Heron Valley as part of their 2026 Tour and he was also due to open for Mànran on New Year’s Day 2026.
