Here are some of the questions we get asked about classes most often.
Of course, if you have a specific question you can contact the Engagement Team and we will do our best to help you.
You can reach us Monday to Friday during business hours on 01463 239 841, and selecting Engagement.
Please bear in mind that our class tutors are freelance, so it might take us a day or two to answer your query.
Drop in & Block Booking
Many courses are designed to be attended as a block. With some, you must sign up in week one, but with others, you can start later- usually it depends on what the term focus is. If you are unsure, give us a call and we’ll let you know.
You’ll save £1 on every class if you Block Book.
When searching you can filter by Block Booking or Drop In to help you find the right class for you.
Reservations can be made in person or over the phone for any Eden Court class. Reserved spaces will be held for 3 working days, after which time they will be released for sale. Please note that we do NOT accept reservations for events less than 7 days away.
Additional Support Needs
We want all of our activities to be safe and welcoming to participants of all abilities.
In order to help our class tutors do their best for every participant, it is really helpful to us if any additional learning requirement or support needs are disclosed during registration.
If a participant requires one to one support, support workers are more than welcome to attend classes too.
Any information of this nature given to us is handled in confidence. Registration information is shared with the class tutor and core Engagement Team at Eden Court to help ensure that everyone has the best possible creative experience.
Important Information for Under 18s
All under 18s attending classes will require a signed permission slip from a parent or guardian. This helps us keep everyone safe.
We request that all parents attend the start of a new term, in order to fill in the registration information and sign the permissions.
For the first week of the term, please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for the tutor to make a note of all the attendees’ names and contact details.
Registration information is really important, as it helps us should there be an emergency or accident. We request that registration forms are filled in as fully as possible.
If you become an Eden Court Friend then you’ll receive a discount off regular classes (£1.00 for adults and 50p for under 18’s). For further information, ask a member of the Box Office staff.
If you’re currently a student at university or college you’ll receive a £1 discount off all our adult classes. For further information, ask a member of the Box Office staff.
Eden Court’s bursary scheme helps people on low incomes attend classes for half price (or try a one-off event for free). To qualify you must be in receipt of any of the following benefits: Job Seekers Allowance (income based), Income Support, Universal Credit, Disability Allowance, or Attendance Allowance.
Please contact Box Office on 01463 234 234 for a Bursary Form or download one from the DOWNLOADS section of our website.
If your evidence is dated indefinitely or covers more than one term you will only need to apply once a year.
Please aim to get your Bursary application to us one week prior to the event, or start of term.
Refunds & Exchanges
If you try the first class of a course and find it unsuitable, please contact Box Office immediately. We will try to transfer you to a different class (subject to availability) or offer you a credit voucher for the remaining classes.
Please note refunds are not given for missed classes and will only be issued if a class has been cancelled by Eden Court.
Changes and Cancellations
All details are correct at the time of going to print. Eden Court reserves the right to make changes to the advertised programme, but will endeavour to make as few as possible.
