Fun Palaces
Fun Palaces is an international campaign for cultural democracy and community connection, founded in 2013.

The core team and Ambassadors support volunteers, grassroots communities, new and established organisations and practitioners across the UK and beyond to connect, celebrate their genius, skills and culture and make Fun Palaces.
These events bring together arts, science, craft, tech, digital, heritage and sports activities – but above all PEOPLE – to work together, create together, have FUN together, and in doing so, contribute to our own communities from the grassroots up.
At Eden Court we are very proud to host Fun Palaces Ambassador Ruari Gordon. We want to encourage a culture where people can be themselves and be valued for their strengths.
Ruari works with Eden Court to develop relationships with our communities and to promote and champion the Fun Palaces campaign.
Fun Palaces was awarded £1.5m from The National Lottery Community Fund's UK Portfolio. This is for five years (Sep 2019 - Sep 2024) and covers the core work of the campaign.
