Alis works as a storyteller and is setting up a bardic centre, Seanchas, at Belladrum, to help keep alive our ancient, magical and deeply-Nature-connected Highlands and Islands culture.

It was always a part of our culture to tell stories and sing songs around the fire - outdoors in earlier times - and indoors at the hearth of the Ceilidh House - in more recent times. Creating our own culture in this way is one of Alis' passions and so she is delighted to be one of Eden Court's Ambassadors for the Fun Palaces campaign for cultural democracy.
