I started my journey with a passion for bringing stories to life and so I trained to be an actor. I soon discovered that I found a greater joy in helping others to tell their own stories in an expressive way, and so I became a youth theatre tutor.
I spent nearly 10 years working in England, with young people from all walks of life, creating plays, directing performances and teaching drama and learning my craft before I finally moved to beautiful Inverness!
I have now been working for Eden Court Theatre for nearly 10 years, as an accessible arts worker. During that time it has been my privilege to work with children and young people from all over the Highlands. I have gained a great deal of experience, engaging on creative adventures with people who have a wide range of different access needs and conditions. I have worked with whole schools, individual students and everything in between along the way, and my ethos has always been the same... enabling fun, enables expression!
My current focus is on developing an accessible, creative future for young people and adults. A community hub where all are welcome and encouraged to participate... Come and join me!!
