Jacqueline Briggs is an illustrator and mural artist based in Inverness. Growing up on the Black Isle with Scottish and Papua New Guinean parents, she uses art as a means to explore her contrasting heritage - the people, stories and rich landscapes.

In 2020 she was involved in creating a mural for the Black Lives Matter mural trail situated at Eden Court which housed the banners of support for the movement. In 2022 she created illustrations in celebration of Inverness Film Festival’s 20th anniversary at Eden Court.

She also works with a variety of community arts projects in the Highlands offering free creative wellbeing sessions.
