Rhys Campbell
FilmmakingRhys Campbell is a Youth Worker by trade and a filmmaker by chance.
Rhys is born and bred in the Highlands. Growing up in the small town of Alness, Rhys has been faced by the same challenges and barriers faced by many young artists living in the highlands.
Rhys started his Eden Court career when he phoned Box office asking to speak to a ‘Groger’ much to the operator’s amusement - finally getting hold of Graeme Roger - Rhys was looking to borrow a camera for an amateur production.
One camera; three days; and a film later - Rhys began as our freelance Film Assistant working with Young People in our filmmaking classes.
Rhys is now working on our Cashback projects and our Adult, Teenage Film Classes and has become a valued member of the engagement team with both Youth Work values and technical filmmaking skill.
