Action Hero have been travelling across Europe in their motorhome, asking strangers to sing a love song. Beginning their journey in April 2018, the artists have now travelled over 42,000km through 33 European countries, all the while living and working in their van. So far they have recorded over 900 love songs, all recorded inside their van and sung by people they’ve met as they are travelling. The songs are about being in love but also falling out of love: about heartbreak, joy and hope.

Look out for the Oh Europa Motorhome, a colourful van with white waves, which will be be parked near the Rosemarkie Beach Cafe - you can’t miss it! There's a chance to listen to the archive as well as step inside the motorhome-recording studio to record your own love song.

The songs will be recorded inside the van, unless the van is not accessible to you in which case we will record outside.

Everyone is welcome, any age, any singing ability and any song that to you is a love song. Groups are very welcome, we encourage acopella though.

All of the songs collected will be played during our performance at Under Canvas on Sunday 29 August, and played for free online - tune in!

Inverness will be the first place Oh Europa has visited in Scotland.

All of the songs collected will join over 1000 songs in the archive which plays 24/7 from 44 radio hots spots around Europe.

We have songs from 2 year olds and 90 year olds, in 46 languages everyone is welcome.

RadiOh Europa

RadiOh Europa is a performance/radio project and an act of collective listening where Action Hero play love songs they’ve collected on their ongoing journey around Europe. It's a deep-listening experience; a vast pan-European broadcast of voices from across the continent singing about love, desire, heartbreak, hope and longing.
