What to Expect
Under Canvas Across the Highlands is an outdoor event, with a canvas roof covering in case of inclement weather. The tent is big to ensure we comply with COVID-19 government guidelines and for the safety of our audiences, performers and staff, and the atmosphere will be welcoming and friendly.
Please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes before the start of your session, to avoid queues building up. Tables and seats are disinfected between each session and we will admit you as soon as we can. Please observe the current social distancing guidelines while waiting and after entering the tent.
Each person will be asked to check in via the NHS Scotland Test and Protect Check In Scotland App, or complete a paper Track and Trace form before they take their seats. You will be shown to your table by a member of the Under Canvas team.
You will be able to buy drinks from our bar, including teas and coffees, soft drinks, wine and beer. We will also be offering delicious wood-fired pizzas, made fresh on site by our team. Food and drink menus can be viewed by using the QR code on the table. A member of the team will take all food and drink orders at your table. Orders cannot be placed at the bar.
Please ensure you bring your face covering with you unless you are exempt and wear it at all times unless you are eating or drinking.
As this is an outdoors event, you might want to bring a blanket to keep out the evening chill!
Toilets will be available in nearby facilities and will be clearly sign posted. There will be a one-way system to access the toilets and to exit/enter the festival tent.
If you wish to donate your £5 reservation fee at the end of the night to Under Canvas Across the Highlands a member of the team will be able to assist or they can deduct it from your final bill.
We kindly ask all audience members to leave at the end of their ticketed session so that we can clean down the tent ahead of the next session.
For more information on what we're doing to keep everyone safe please visit our Covid information page.
