Our diverse cinema programme includes world cinema, blockbusters, new releases and art-house films.
Live broadcast screenings are held regularly and include National Theatre Live, The Royal Ballet, Royal Shakespeare Company and The Royal Opera House. Special events include post-screening Q&A sessions, live music with silent films and the annual Inverness Film Festival each November.

- Playhouse cinema – 86 seats (currently limited to 25 for social distancing)
- La Scala – 134 seats (currently limited to 37 for social distancing)
- Films are also screened in the OneTouch theatre
Eden Court Friends Coffee Morning
An exclusive screening for Eden Court Friends takes place once a month where coffee and scones are served 1 hour before the screening starts. The film, date and time are included in the monthly cinema guide.
Other Types of Screenings
- Audio Described
When a film is marked (AD symbol) this means that audio description is available via a headset for all screenings (please ask box office for a headset) - Subtitled
When a film is marked (subtitled symbol) this means there will be a selected subtitled screening/s - Autism Friendly
When a film is marked (AF symbol) this means there will be an autism friendly screening of this film. These screenings are especially for people on the autistic spectrum and their families, friends and carers. - Dementia Friendly
When a film is marked (DFS symbol) this means there will be a dementia friendly screening. The lights are left on low, there are no adverts or trailers and the audience is allowed to move around should they wish to. - Programmers Choice
Films with a (programmer’s choice symbol) are specially recommended by our film programmer. - Dream and Scream
Specially for parents and carers of new babies aged 0 – 12 months. Look out for the (dream and scream symbol) on individual screenings. Please note that along with your seat, you will need to select one for the baby as well (free of charge). - Silver Linings Screening
If a film is marked with (silver linings symbol) this means it’s a screening for over 60s. - Sunday Brunch
Every Sunday morning, enjoy a hot drink and a breakfast roll (veggie/vegan options available) before a select mid-morning film. Arrive early enough to give yourself time to enjoy the food (no hot food to be taken into the cinema). Sunday brunch (drink, food and film) ticket price is only £7.50. No discounts apply.
