By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms + conditions
General terms
- By purchasing a ticket, you agree to abide by these Terms + Conditions and any additional venue policies
- The venue reserves the right to amend these terms at any time
- Tickets are valid only for the event, date and time stated
- Tickets are sold as non-refundable and non-transferrable
- Refunds are only considered in cases of event cancellation or significant disruption beyond the control of the venue
- Exchanges or credit notes may be offered at the venue’s discretion but are not guaranteed
Right to refuse admission
- The venue reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any individual whose behaviour is deemed threatening, abusive or disruptive, and no refunds will be provided in such cases
- Re-entry may be refused once a patron leaves the venue
- Entry may be denied to anyone deemed to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs
Compliance with venue policies
- All attendees must comply with venue rules and staff instructions
- Failure to comply may result in removal without refund
- Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance, at the discretion of staff
- For certain shows that have a no latecomer policy, latecomers may not be admitted and no refund issued
Prohibited items + conduct
- Dangerous or disruptive items (including weapons, illegal substances and offensive materials) are prohibited
- Confiscation or ejection may occur if such items are found
- Aggressive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour towards staff or other patrons will not be tolerated and may result in removal without refund
- Patrons who appear to be intoxicated and disruptive may be refused entry or removed from the venue without refund
- Dancing in unsafe areas or restricted zones is not permitted. We encourage everyone to enjoy themselves but must prioritise safety and the enjoyment of others. Patrons disregarding this policy may be asked to remain seated or removed from the venue without refund
- Only alcohol purchased on-site may be consumed. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited and will be confiscated. Violators may be removed without refund. This applies to all venue areas, including grounds, per the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, Section 65
- No glass or hot food is allowed inside any venues
- Patrons may bring an alcoholic or hot drink into the show; however, visits to the bar during the performance are not permitted and drinks may only be purchased during the interval
- Bag searches may be in place for some events.
Zero tolerance for harassment
- The venue operates a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or abuse towards staff or patrons
- Offenders will be removed without refund and may face legal action
Support for staff decisions
- All decisions made by venue staff regarding policies, seating arrangements and patron behaviour are final
Grievances + complaints
- If you would like to make a complaint please email [email protected]. Your email will be forwarded to the relevant team for review
- Complaints raised in person during a performance may be addressed at the discretion of the Duty Manager but should also be followed up in writing
Booking fees + development levy
- Booking fees are included in the ticket price and are as follows (except classes):
£1.50 for tickets under £20
£2.50 for tickets priced £20 - £34.99
£3.50 for tickets priced £35+ - Most theatre events at Eden Court have a £2 development levy included in the ticket price. 100% of the money raised from the development levy will be re-invested in Eden Court
- Please note Eden Court tickets are sold by Eden Court Highlands (trading as Eden Court), a company registered in Scotland (company number SC63216) and a charity registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (registered number SC008237)
Vouchers
- Vouchers can be redeemed online, by phone or in person
- Vouchers can be redeemed in full or in stages
- To redeem, you will need both the voucher number and redemption code
- The voucher cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative
- Vouchers cannot be used in the café
- Vouchers will expire two years from the date of issue
Event cancellation + rescheduling
- In the event of a cancellation, ticket holders will be notified and offered a refund or reschedule where possible
- Any refunds will be made to the original purchaser via the same method that was used for payment. Cash and cheque payments will be refunded by BACS transfer
- Any tickets purchased through a third party (e.g. Ticketmaster) cannot be refunded or exchanged through Eden Court. Please refer back to your selling agent
- If an event is rescheduled, tickets may remain valid for the new date
- The venue is not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs incurred due to event changes
Accessibility + special requirements
- The venue strives to accommodate accessibility needs. If you require assistance, please contact: [email protected] in advance
- Customers with specific seating requirements due to medical conditions should inform the venue at the time of booking
Liability
- The venue is not responsible for personal property lost, stolen or damaged on the premises
- Patrons attend events at their own risk. The venue is not liable for personal injury unless caused by proven negligence
Photography + recording
- The use of cameras, video equipment and mobile phones during performances may be restricted
- Professional photography or recording is not permitted without prior authorisation
