We’re throwing a party and you’re invited!

The animals that call the Lonely Pine home know that something is wrong with their tree – but what could it be? Maybe a birthday party will make their tree happy again.

The Lonely Pine is a warm, hopeful story about growth, community and the environment for children in Primary 1 - 7. Taking inspiration from the natural world, the show explores how even the smallest of us can make a difference.

This brand-new production will be touring to primary schools across the Highlands, for free, in Sep and Oct 2026. Created as part of Eden Court’s 50th anniversary, this production will bring the celebrations beyond the building and into your school hall.

• Morning and afternoon performances available
• Each participating school will receive a free pine sapling to plant in their community courtesy of Trees for Life

Touring requirements

• Team: The show will tour with two performers and one stage manager

• Parking: Parking for a long wheelbase van

• Get in/get out: 2 hours to set up, 1 hour to pack down

• Playing space: Minimum W 5m x D 5m x H 3m

• Facilities: A space for our two cast members to change

• Technical: The show is entirely self-contained, but we require access to at least two domestic power sockets
