The Traverse is delighted to be presenting the Highlands Class Act Showcase 2024!

With scripts having been written by young people across the Highlands, they will now be brought to life by a team of professional theatre-makers including directors, actors, filmmakers and musicians.

Placing professional playwrights into each school to transform students into writers and storytellers, Class Act provides creative support and a safe space for participants, encouraging them to express themselves freely and imagine without inhibition. The results address what they feel passionate about, and each script crackles with unparalleled energy.
