Hexenhammer

  • Engagement

by Young Quines

Hexenhammer explores medieval and modern sexism through Scotland’s long history of witch-hunting. From the seventeenth century rumour mill to twenty-first century computer games, the misogyny of ‘witch-hunts’ is embedded deep in society. In response, the Young Quines present a fierce and joyful critique of daily sexism, a tribute to the accused ‘witches’ of the past, and a celebration of the witches of the present.
