Monsterfest returns in 2024 and features some of the best new Rock music on the global music scene. ‘Year of the Dragon’ is the theme for the 6th edition of the festival. This year high flying Rock artist Kris Barras Band will headline the Friday night after achieving an amazing top 5 in the national charts playing Inverness for the first time along with Ricky Warwick and The Fighting Hearts as Saturday headliners. Ricky is well known for fronting The Almighty, Black Star Riders and Thin Lizzy in recent times. With high rising stars like Muddibrooke, Zac and the New Men and Stone Angels, established artists the Black Spiders and Ewan MacFarlane (formerly of the Grim Northern Social) along with American Rockstar Marco Mendoza of Journey, Whitesnake and Thin Lizzy fame already announced, it’s going to be a celebration of great Rock music with even more big artists to be announced. This year, the monster has turned into a massive dragon!
