Tartan Paint bring together four musicians whose paths wind through the Highlands, Islands, Ireland and beyond. Alan Kells (guitar, vocals) draws from the musical heritage of his native north west Ireland, Rachel Campbell-Hardiman (fiddle) is deeply influenced by Highland and Gaelic traditions, Rory Robson (bagpipes, whistles) is accomplished from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Fergus Bryce (drums) adds dynamic rhythm, fresh from his success with the World Champion Inveraray and District Pipe Band. Together, they are shaping the future of contemporary folk music.
