A rip-roaring night of live stand-up comedy starring the TV names you know and love alongside some of the hottest up-and-coming talent. Presented by Scotland’s original home of live comedy Gilded Balloon, this is the ultimate night out for comedy fans!

Following appearances on Live at the Apollo, As Yet Untitled, Comedy Central’s Roast Battle and many more, the unstoppable Darren Harriot headlines the show. Joining him for a hilarious night of comedy are Live At The Apollo star Helen Bauer and two of the circuits brightest rising stars Stuart McPherson and Kate Hammer. Best known for appearances on Scot Squad and as viral sensation the Other Murray Brother, Chris Forbes hosts.

Darren Harriot 

Darren Harriott is one of the most exciting comedians on the circuit. Over the last few years, he has hosted Live at the Apollo, BBC’s News Jack Unplugged and CBBC’s The Dog Ate My Homework. He has become a regular face on our screens on panel shows such Mock the Week and Don’t Hate the Playaz as well as giving his viewpoint on popular reality shows; The Apprentice: Your Fired and The Great British Bake Off: Extra Slice. He’s a Comedy Central favourite on shows such as The Comedy Bus and Roast Battle. Earlier this year he wrote and recorded his own 4 part series Black Label on BBC Radio 4.

Chris Forbes

Star of BBC’s Scot Squad and award winning comedian, Chris Forbes is one of the most in demand comics in Scotland. As well as being a regular on the UK comedy circuit, Forbes has gigged all over the world and supported Kevin Bridges on tour. Chris is an experienced host for corporate events and also an accomplished after dinner speaker.

Helen Bauer

Known for being a comedy powerhouse with an electric stage presence, Helen is one of the UK’s most exciting rising stand up stars. TV appearances include Live At The Apollo (BBC2), Stand Up For Live Comedy: BBC Presents (BBC 1 & 3), Edinburgh Nights (BBC 2), Period Dramas (BBC 3), CelebAbility, The Stand Up Sketch Show, The Emily Attack Show and Hey Tracey (ITV2), The Dog Ate My Homework (CBBC), Pep Talk, Fat Chat and Comedy Central’s Digital Fringe (Comedy Central), Late Night Mash, CALM Gala, Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled and Hypothetical (Dave).

Stuart McPherson

Stuart McPherson is an award-winning stand-up comedian, writer and also an actor. He is also known for writing and performing acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe shows. Stuart is probably best known for appearing in the Scottish BAFTA winning comedy Scot Squad on BBC Scotland. Interestingly enough, Stuart is also a lead story producer and script editor on the programme.

Kate Hammer

Kate Hammer is a fresh face and also entire person forged in the comedy, writing, and performance scenes, living it up in Scotland, U.K. They have performed internationally as an improviser, stand-up, sketch comedian, and actor. She was awarded the Excellence in Playwriting Award at the McGill Theatre Festival, and published a feminist anthology in 2018 that supremely upset one straight, white man (and maybe more!!)
