Eden Court Highlands and Imagine Theatre are delighted to announce that we will be holding open auditions for this year's magical pantomime, Cinderella, with roles in three teams of Junior Ensemble members and additional reserve team members! Auditions will be hosted on Sun 30 Aug 2026 here at Eden Court, Inverness.

The auditions are being held to find young performers who are at least 9 years old and in P5 of school on the first day of rehearsals (Sat 14 Nov 2026) and no older than 15 years old and in S4 on the last day of performances (Sun 3 Jan 2027). The children will be taught a dance routine on the day and do not need to prepare anything in advance. There will be no singing or script reading required on the audition day unless you have been specifically informed otherwise in advance. Throughout the day, the audition panel will be looking for performers who show capability in terms of dance as well as performance ability, enthusiasm and the ability to follow instructions.

Auditions start at 10am with registration at 9.30am on Sun 30 Aug 2025. Please note that food will not be provided on the day – we would advise those auditioning to bring a soft drink (not fizzy) and slow energy release foods (such as pasta, chicken, bananas, etc.) with them for snacks and lunch. We are happy to offer auditionees and their families a 20% discount on food and drink at our Bar + Café on the audition day.
