This week, the Eden Court Digi Team have been busy filming, editing and creating a film for the Inverness Film Festival.
We caught up with Graeme Roger to find out a little more about the project:
As part of our Cashback for Creativity funded work we’ve been working with a group of young people aged between 11 and 21 on ‘John Wick / John fae Wick’ parody films. It’s been brilliant, suitably surreal and we’ve been laughing all week. Everyone has been involved in plot, script ideas, filming, editing and producing a soundtrack. The final films will be screened at the Inverness Film Festival later this year!
Here’s a behind the scenes film created by Callum Mcarthur, who has been working with us since he was 13 and is now 19 and about to start studying film-making in Aberdeen.
Callum has had amazing time learning film-making and we wish him lots of luck at Aberdeen College.
This week, I’ve been doing the behind the scenes film for Next Steps and have been trusted with all the filming and editing. This week, has taught me how to film on my own and get the good shots. With the experience Eden Court has given me I’ve been able to get into Aberdeen College. Without them I wouldn’t have got in because, I didn’t have all the qualifications. I have used all the experience I have been given and the work I have put in has enabled me to get onto the creative media course.
