Scottish Dance Theatre presents an explosive programme with work by two contemporary masters at the top of their game: Sharon Eyal and Emanuel Gat.
Dundee’s very own ensemble of dancers transform into sleek, androgynous beings inhabiting dark recesses and shadows, guided by a futuristic techno soundtrack in the long-awaited return of Process Day. Emanuel Gat’s The Circle takes the audience to the edge of their seat as the dancers take split second decisions and collectively weave intricate and ephemeral patterns live onstage. Featuring lush, sculptural costumes, the piece is set to a hypnotic score by electronic guru, Squarepusher. Artistic Director Joan Clevillé tells us why this double bill is one not to be missed. Scottish Dance Theatre appointmented Joan Clevillé as Artistic Director earlier this year. The internationally renowned choreographer becomes the seventh artistic director of this award winning company.
Your imagination tingles: this is bold, breath-taking stuff performed by a company at the top of its game’
