Ten years ago we launched a new monthly prize draw to raise funds for Eden Court. Every month a lucky member of our 500 Club wins £500 cash to spend on anything they fancy. It’s a nice call to make, phoning the winner, and most are happy to tell us what they will do with their unexpected windfall. Once it was buy a fridge (!), quite often it is to go on a short break, lots save their winnings for a rainy day and one generous member donated it back to us.
Thanks to our 500 Club members Eden Court wins every month. All the proceeds of the draw go towards helping us present a world class programme of arts events and providing creative opportunities in schools and communities throughout the Highlands.
To date our 500 Club members have raised an incredible £120,000 for Eden Court’s work. These are vital funds that have really made a difference to the young people who have experienced the magic of live theatre for the first time, the community of dancers learning new steps with our tutors, the pupils successfully achieving a Higher Drama award and so many more. They and we are very grateful to everyone who has been part of our 500 Club over the past ten years. Thank you.
