Eden Court has been crowned Venue of the Year at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards, held on Saturday night in Inverness and broadcast live on BBC Alba. The award recognises the venue’s outstanding contributions to Scotland's vibrant live music scene and dedication to supporting both established and emerging artists.
This accolade caps off a brilliant year for live music here at Eden Court, which has played host to a dynamic mix of international stars, iconic Scottish musicians and rising Highland talent.

This year we’ve seen unforgettable concerts from Mànran, Niteworks, FARA, Eddi Reader, Rufus Wainwright, Russell Crowe, the Fèis Rois Ceilidh Trail and James Yorkston’s Tae Sup Wi’ a Fifer series. Performances have spanned our array of unique stages, including the 860-seat Empire Theatre, the 430-capacity OneTouch Theatre and the iconic annual Under Canvas summer music festival.
Rebecca Holt, Eden Court’s Chief Executive, said:
"We are honoured to receive this award. It reflects the passion and hard work of everyone involved in making Eden Court a home for live music in the Highlands. 2025 promises to be an exciting year for audiences and artists alike, as we continue to showcase traditional and contemporary Scottish music, alongside world-renowned acts, to create some truly special live music events."
