Come rain or shine, here’s a line-up of fantastic events happening at Eden Court for families and young people over the Easter break!
THEATRE
A real-life Roald Dahl Magic Show? You can bet your everlasting gobstopper on it!
Roald Dahl's The Wonderful Life of Henry Sugar (15 - 17 Apr) is a fantastic live theatre magical extravaganza for families that shows the consequences of what happens when you get everything your heart desires...
Expect magic. Expect illusion. Expect the unexpected!
CINEMA
Most hedgehogs emerging from winter hibernation look for food and water... blue hedgehogs, by contrast, look for gold coins and opportunities to thwart cataclysmic global disaster at the hands of evil scientists. Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (1 – 14 Apr) explores the world of the latter, at considerable speed!
There’s more family fun at the cinema in The Bad Guys (8 – 12 Apr), a frenetic, fast-talking animation that The Guardian called ‘Tarantino for ankle-biters’. Yes please!
GET INVOLVED
Our next Behind The Scenes FREE event for 15 – 25 year olds presents an absolute bobby-dazzler: Japanese anime Belle (Tue 19 Apr) which sets a new benchmark for big screen animation.
Young LGBTQ+ writers (16 -26) shouldn’t miss a fantastic opportunity to develop their skills with The Rainbow Library, a 6-day residency at Eden Court from 9 – 14 Apr, led by poet Leyla Josephine.
Our Studio Programme is on a short break now for Easter but why not launch yourself into spring with a creative class? Book now for our next term of dance, drama, filmmaking, singing and mult-art classes and collectives, which kicks off on Mon 25 Apr.
There you have it! We hope to see you soon at Eden Court and make sure to give yourself time to refuel at our café/bar during your visit.
