Last week, we took part in Scottish Ballet's 2019 Digital Season. It’s the second time they’ve ran the month long Digital Season to showcase a variety of different work that’s been created for smartphones & cinema. The films were then shared on Facebook & Twitter for everyone to enjoy.

Nightmoves by Graeme Roger
We caught up with Graeme Roger the producer of Nightmoves to find out more about his inspiration behind the film:
The idea came about when I was thinking about the un-noticed or un-glamourous elements of a building like Eden Court. And the loading bay, where we projected the film, was one of those places (although I am a loading bay fan myself).
We were keen to play with the scale of the projection and try a bit of experimentation with surfaces and locations. We filmed with two dance groups from Eden Court and the elegance of the performers allowed us to see these places in a new context.
Both Eden Court Youth Theatre Dance Group and Gracenotes performers were brilliant to work with and were really up for being involved. They put a lot of trust into the film team and we couldn’t have done this without them, Rhys one of our class tutors and Jess one of our film class students. We can’t wait to make another one next year.
