From international touring, to Abbey Road Studios and now the Scottish Highlands - Eden Court welcomes PCK Dance for a two-year residency.

We are thrilled to announce that the internationally acclaimed PCK Dance are joining Eden Court as our Dance Company in Residence for 2026 and 2027.
Founded by James Pett and Travis Clausen-Knight, PCK Dance have toured internationally and, having recently completed an electrifying performance at Abbey Road Studios as part of SXSW Festival, they're now planting roots at home in the Highlands.
For Co-Artistic Director James Pett, it's a journey that started right here - in an Eden Court dance class as a teenager.
"As someone who took their very first dance classes at Eden Court as a teenager, seeing PCK Dance become 'Company in Residence' feels like a real full-circle moment”, says James. “Returning to the Highlands after building an international career and bringing the company home to Scotland was driven by a desire to build new opportunities for artists, audiences and future generations of dancers. We believe world-class contemporary dance can be created from the Highlands."

Eden Court shares that belief, which is why we are so delighted to partner with PCK Dance and host them as Company in Residence. The independent dance company will be embedded in the building - with access to space and resources, deep involvement in our dance engagement programme and the freedom to make bold new work right here in Inverness.
Their first major production under the residency, The Panic Room (supported by The National Lottery through Creative Scotland), opens at Eden Court on 12 Sep 2026. Tickets are on sale now.
"This feels like a really important and mutually beneficial collaboration," says Susannah Armitage, Eden Court's Head of Live Performance and Producing. "Piloting an embedded and long-term opportunity for creative artists where there is room for growth and learning feels really exciting."
Over 2026 and 2027, PCK Dance will create new productions, deepen connections with communities across the region and help strengthen the bridge between the Highlands and the international dance world.
