Jess Carnegie
she/herYouth Theatre AssistantJess grew up in Suffolk but has called Scotland her home since 2016, when she moved to Glasgow to study Sculpture & Environmental Art at the Glasgow School of Art. She has since moved further north every few years, to Aberdeenshire, Wester Ross and now to Inverness, working to bring communities together through a celebration and exploration of creativity and heritage, be that through hill walks, gardening, theatre, and much more. Jess has previously worked at socially engaged arts organisation Deveron Projects and nature and heritage conservation charity the National Trust for Scotland, facilitating creative opportunities for people to learn from each other.
When Jess is not helping bring out people’s creativity, you can find her up walking in the hills, swimming in the sea, or sewing her next quilt!
