Hello! I’m Maili, your Arts Practitioner for Film and Visual Arts within the Engagement team. I’m a filmmaker and artist who grew up in Inverness. I facilitate participatory film and visual arts projects, including Eden Court’s Youth Film group and the CashBack Highlands programme. On Thursday evenings you can find me hanging out online with our Queer Youth Arts Collective.

I love storytelling and I believe that film is a really fun and playful medium to create with. I first started creating with moving image at Eden Court when I was a teenager, and I went on to study Film and Media at the University of Stirling. I feel incredibly lucky to be working in a place that holds a lot of happy memories for me, doing what I love every day!
