Favourite film: Apocalypse Now

This has to be my favourite film as it's a very interesting and unsettling depiction of war and the insanity it can bring out in somebody. It's not as graphic or action packed as most war films tend to be, and instead focuses on the psychological impact and horrors of those circumstances. Based on a novel called Heart of Darkness, which explores similar themes but in an entirely different setting. I think it's very poetic and visually stunning.
