Morna grew up attending dance and drama classes at Eden Court, before leaving the Highlands to study BA (Hons) Media. Whilst studying in Aberdeen, Morna created theatre with the Aberdeen Performing Arts Young Company, which later developed into digital theatre due to the pandemic. Morna returned to the Highlands in 2020 and since graduating has become a social media coordinator for Framework Theatre, a dance artist with High Life Highland and, of course, a member of the freelance team with Eden Court Engagement.

Morna is passionate about all the creative arts - she is a volunteer on the Nairn Book and Arts Festival committee, a member of the Wonder Fools Youth Board and a contributor for the local music review website Inverness Gigs. She spends the rest of her free time writing, watching television and taking long walks on the beach.
