Nic Gray
Artist Liaison ManagerAfter growning up in the world of amateur Pantomime, Nicola started her professional theatre career in 1999. Graduating from Fife College, she went on to run her own Performing Arts Company for young people and Direct and Choreograph productions with local companies: The Florians and Starlight Musical Theatre
Nicola started working with Eden Court back in 2004 on a freelance basis, facilitating the 5-12’s drama workshops and Outreach provision at Crown Primary School each week. Nine years later she landed the role of Theatre Arts Worker in the (then) CREATIVE department, in which she developed the Musical Theatre Classes for young participants. After five years of making, creating and having the best time with her crazy colleagues, Nicola moved into the role of Artist Liaison Manager in the Live Performance team.
As Artist Liaison Manager, Nicola is the Visiting Artist’s and Companies first point of contact in the lead-up to and following their visit. This includes communicating the company’s requirements with the various different departments in Eden Court. No day is the same! She works with local industries to provide a warm Highland experience for Visiting Artists and is always on the look-out for a new ‘deal’!
Nicola also Manages some of Eden Court’s Live Performance Partnership projects. From R&D opportunities to collaborations with our sibling Scottish Theatres.
Nic really enjoys meeting new people, listening to their stories and making them feel as welcome as possible! Always up for a laugh, a Pony Trot with Tina Turner and a pint of Guinness!
