Screen Sparks
Action your future
Screen Sparks is a creative employability programme for young refugees and asylum seekers aged 16-24 in the Highlands. Over ten-weeks you will work together as a team to create your own film, learn performance techniques and take on roles behind and in front of the camera. You will build your confidence, communication and teamworking skills and take the next step towards your future. The project will culminate with a screening of your film at Eden Court.
This programme will be delivered three times in different locations including Inverness and Alness.
Screen Sparks is delivered in partnership between Eden Court and Compass Collective, a UK arts charity supporting young refugees and asylum seekers through creative projects and arts-led professional development programmes.
When I started, I didn’t have a path. This programme has changed my life. The support from Compass has given me a better vision of my future, a better mindset, and a sense of connection to society’

Screen Sparks is supported by the SSEN Transmission’s Community Benefit Fund.
