A mysterious manuscript – supposedly written by Henri Pick, a deceased local pizza-restaurant owner – turns into a French literary sensation. When a pompous TV literary critic makes disparaging remarks about Pick, he loses his wife and job. So he turns detective and teams up with Pick’s daughter, to discover the truth.
