Accessible films, performances and events
Our cinemas are equipped with the latest DTS Access technology, including hearing assist, audio description and – for specified performances – soft subtitling.
Our four major performance spaces are equipped with two-channel infrared equipment for the hearing impaired. Special receivers are available at the Box Office and can be used on their own or in conjunction with your hearing aid. Please reserve your receiver when booking your seat.
Eden Court has an Autism-Friendly movie event each month and welcomes both groups and individuals to these relaxed screenings.
Eden Court has regular Dementia-Friendly events, welcoming both groups and individuals.
Visitors with limited mobility
We have wheelchair spaces for each performance. These spaces must be booked in advance and Box Office staff can advise on availability of these seats.
Eden Court also has a number of wheelchairs available for customer use. If use of a wheelchair would make it easier for you to access our building, we would recommend booking in advance to ensure availability.
Touch tours are a service offered alongside an audio described performance. They are behind the scenes tours in order for visually impaired patrons to walk on the set, feel costumes and props, and get an account of where these things appear in the show, and their relevance to the story.
Tours are free of charge but are specifically for visually impaired patrons and their companions.
