- Drop In Class

A fun, open-level class that focuses on technique, strength and musicality.
The class is made up of two parts, barre and centre work. At the barre, the emphasis will be on technique and strengthening muscles. In the centre, we will learn short exercises that will utilise technique from the barre and further strengthen essential muscles. We will incorporate musicality and performance elements into each exercise that will aid our ability to perform on stage.

Term breakdown
Term 1: Mon 24 Aug - Mon 5 Oct, Mon 26 Oct - Mon 9 Oct
This term will focus on getting to know one another along with the basics of ballet technique. We will cover a wide range of movements and exercises that we will then build on in future terms.
Term 2: Mon 11 Jan - Mon 8 Feb, Mon 22 Feb - Mon 22 Mar
This term will build on the basics that we covered in Term 1, whilst also incorporating new exercises to expand our understanding. We will start to focus more on musicality and performance as our understanding of technique develops.
Term 3: Mon 12 Apr - Mon 21 Jun
In Term 3, we will continue to develop our technique and may begin learning longer sequences to challenge our understanding and apply our performance techniques.
