Grace Morton
Grace is a singer-songwriter from the Isle of Skye. Her music sits within a contemporary folk landscape - fusing the traditional Scottish influences of her island upbringing with her instinct for intimate, reflective songwriting. At Under Canvas, she will play with a full band - expect moments both gentle and upbeat, carried by a raw and honest energy. Grace will share songs from her upcoming debut album, featuring both Gaelic and English writing.
Ellie Beaton
Ellie Beaton is an award-winning Folk Singer from Rothienorman, Aberdeenshire. With a commanding voice that ripples with warmth and confidence, she embodies the traditional style of Aberdeenshire balladry whilst taking inspiration musical styles from across the globe. Described as “One of the most outstanding voices in Scotland’s folk scene,” by The Herald, she was crowned BBC Radio Scotland’s Young Traditional Musician of the Year in 2025.
