Mairi McGillivray

Mairi McGillivray is a Gaelic singer from the island of Islay off the west coast of Scotland. Coming from a strong Gaelic background, she uses her heritage along with her dynamic range of musical influences to put her own style on songs from her tradition, performing in Gaelic and other traditional styles as well as self penned pieces. Audiences will be brought on a journey of her 2026 debut album with close connections to her native Islay. Joined on stage by two of traditional music’s finest musicians, Sean Gray (Guitar) and Isla Callister (Fiddle), they breathe new life into these stories.

Tarran

Tarran are an exhilarating contemporary folk group from Glasgow, with roots in both
Ireland and the Scottish Highlands. The band consists of Sophie Joint (keys), Breanna
Wilson (fiddle), Malachy Arnold (harp) and Gregor Black (bodhran and drum kit). Using
elements of funk, blues and contemporary rhythm, the band create a lively and
innovative twist on traditional music.
