This class is for 13–15 year olds ready to get serious about making films.
Come along and venture into the exciting world of Eden Court Youth Film for ages 13–15. Whether you're brand new to film or already a bit film-mad, join us as we come together to watch, make, and experiment with filmmaking.
You'll get hands-on experience writing, directing and editing your own films - getting to grips with real cameras, playing around with green screen, and cutting it all together in professional editing software.

Term breakdown
Term 1: Mon 24 Aug - Mon 5 Oct, Mon 26 Oct - Mon 9 Oct
This term covers superhero films, POV films and animation, giving participants a solid grounding in both creative storytelling and visual techniques. The term rounds off with a free project, where participants can apply everything they've learned to an idea of their own choosing.
Term 2: Mon 11 Jan - Mon 8 Feb, Mon 22 Feb - Mon 22 Mar
This term covers music videos, sound design, and monster movies, giving participants a broad range of filmmaking styles and technical skills to explore. The term concludes with a free project, giving participants the freedom to take their skills in whatever direction they choose.
Term 3: Mon 12 Apr - Mon 21 Jun
This term covers animation, After Effects, and chase scenes giving participants a solid grounding in both creative storytelling and technical skills. The term closes with a free project, where participants are encouraged to bring an idea of their own to life.
