Hands-on filmmaking for young creatives aged 9-12.
If you like watching films and have ever wondered how they're made, Youth Film is the place to be! Come along to make, watch, and learn all about filmmaking in a fun, hands-on way. You'll get to grab a camera, go wild on the green screen, and cut it all together using editing software to create your own short films, animations, and plenty of other creative surprises.

Term breakdown
Term 1: Mon 24 Aug - Mon 5 Oct, Mon 26 Oct - Mon 9 Oct
This term covers superhero films, POV films and animation, giving participants a solid grounding in both creative storytelling and visual techniques. The term rounds off with a free project, where participants can apply everything they've learned to an idea of their own choosing.
Term 2: Mon 11 Jan - Mon 8 Feb, Mon 22 Feb - Mon 22 Mar
This term covers music videos, sound design, and monster movies, giving participants a broad range of filmmaking styles and technical skills to explore. The term concludes with a free project, giving participants the freedom to take their skills in whatever direction they choose.
Term 3: Mon 12 Apr - Mon 21 Jun
This term covers animation, After Effects, and chase scenes, giving participants a solid grounding in both creative storytelling and technical skills. The term closes with a free project, where participants are encouraged to bring an idea of their own to life.
