Gain confidence as a theatre-maker, storyteller and team player!
Youth Theatre for 11-13 year olds is all about enhancing your performance and devising skills. Participants will have the opportunity to explore storytelling, character, and devising in an environment where bravery is encouraged.
Drama is an excellent way for young people to build confidence, learn how to work well with others, channel imaginative spirit and make friends.

Term breakdown
Term 1: Mon 24 Aug - Mon 5 Oct, Mon 26 Oct - Mon 9 Oct
This term is all about learning performance, devising, and storytelling skills. Participants will play games and engage with exercises which allow them to create new characters, stories, and present their ideas to each other.
Term 2: Mon 11 Jan - Mon 8 Feb, Mon 22 Feb - Mon 22 Mar
This term we will begin rehearsals for our summer show, further developing performance techniques as well as gaining understanding of the theatre making process.
Term 3: Mon 12 Apr - Mon 21 Jun
This term, rehearsals will continue for our show and will culminate in a public performance at Eden Court. This term is closed to new members.
