We recognise the importance of singing together in a group and how beneficial the creative and social aspects are to you, while still having lots of fun! Just Sing is a mixed voice a cappella (voices only) harmony singing group where you’ll learn uplifting songs from around the world.

In this class, you have the time to work on developing vocal skill and group dynamics, taking inspiration from gospel, traditional folk, pop, world music as well as contemporary compositions with inspiring words relevant to our lives. We also add in songs appropriate to the season. There will be a mix of simpler songs so we can relax and enjoy our voices, and some more juicy arrangements to get our teeth into.

The group includes breathing and voice exercises to help develop the power quality and range of the voice. The emphasis is on learning by ear for simple songs and written music can be used for the more complex arrangements.

This class is suitable for all levels of confidence though some singing experience is recommended. To get the most out of this group, regular attendance is recommended.

Class running time: 7pm - 8.30pm
